Below is a summary of the work to be performed: Summary of work: The External Collaborator will develop a policy brief on extending social protection for digital platform workers in India. The objective of the research is to create up-to-date knowledge base in helping inform key stakeholders in Asia and the Pacific region to develop policies to extend social protection coverage to digital platform workers. The External Collaborator will collect necessary data and information available from the statistical and legal databases (desk review), conduct meetings and/or interviews with key informants as necessary, and prepare the country policy brief on extending social protection for the digital platform workers.
