Hiring National Consultant-Programme Support and Communication

Description of the Assignment: SPPS Programme is seeking to hire a National Consultant, Programme Support and Communication. The consultant will play a dual role: driving the programme’s strategic communications, including developing multimedia content, success stories, and donor reports, while providing dedicated programmatic, administrative, and knowledge management support to ensure the smooth execution of SPPS initiatives.
Scope of work:
The consultant will undertake the following tasks:
- Collaboration & Coordination Work closely with Government of Bangladesh (GoB) officials, UNDP teams, and partners to ensure project objectives are aligned and partnerships are strengthened.
- Knowledge Product Development Research and prepare policy briefs, reports, and knowledge products on emerging issues in social protection and related thematic areas.
- Policy Engagement Contribute to high-level meetings, workshops, and webinars, providing technical inputs and supporting policy dialogue.
- Data & Information Management Support data collection, analysis, visualization, and develop infographics for improved reporting and decision-making.
- Reporting Draft and contribute to project reports, thematic papers, and documentation of programme achievements.
- Knowledge Repository Management Develop and maintain repositories of project knowledge, lessons learned, and success stories.
- Event Organization Plan and facilitate workshops, consultations, and stakeholder engagement events.
- Stakeholder Engagement Strengthen collaboration with government, partners, and stakeholders to enhance programme visibility and impact.
- Research Support Assist research teams with background studies, literature reviews, and data analysis.
Period of assignment/services: 96 working days over a period of 5 months
