The International Labour Office (ILO) invites qualified individuals to apply as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
The consultant will support Nepal's National Planning Commission (NPC) in advancing the National Roadmap on Jobs and Social Protection for Just Transitions under the Global Accelerator initiative. The assignment includes reviewing and aligning sectoral policies and programmes with national priorities, strengthening policy coherence, integrating employment and social protection into planning and budgeting, supporting stakeholder coordination, identifying policy and financing priorities, assisting with the implementation of the Roadmap, and support on convening GA National Steering Committee meetings for sharing findings, validation and finalization of documents/reports.
The consultant will also conduct rapid research and policy analysis on labour, employment, social protection, and inclusive economic development. Key tasks include preparing policy briefs, technical papers, analytical reports, and knowledge products, contributing to the Financing Strategy, Monitoring and Evaluation Framework, and National Employment Policy reform, analysing labour market and expenditure data, and providing evidence-based recommendations.
