Description
Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
The consultant will serve as the author of a preparatory study to assess the feasibility, rationale and key technical and institutional considerations for developing an SSE Thematic Account manual aligned with the System of National Accounts 2025. The assignment will involve a structured review of international statistical standards and existing thematic account frameworks, analysis of current gaps in the measurement of the social and solidarity economy, and synthesis of lessons from selected country practices.
The consultant will engage with relevant stakeholders, including national statistical offices and international partners, through targeted consultations to validate findings and identify practical implementation considerations. The work will also include the preparation of analytical outputs and communication materials to support the articulation of the case for advancing methodological guidance on SSE thematic accounts.
The assignment will result in a concise, evidence-based preparatory study report, and a final communication package, including a presentation and policy brief. All work will be carried out in close coordination with the ILO COOP/SSE Unit and relevant partners.
