New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Please see below the clarifications to the questions received for Lot 2 - ICU ventilator with turbine:Q1. Clause 5.4 — Advanced Timing Parameters Current requirement: Adjustable high and low pressure timing parameters for advanced dual-level ventilation modes, such as APRV/Dual-PAP, 0.1–30 seconds or equivalent. Could you please confirm whether the minimum value of the Tlow parameter may be changed from 0.1 seconds to 0.2 seconds and the requirement revised as follows: Adjustable Tlow range: 0.2–30.0 seconds or equivalent. This amendment would not affect the intended function of the equipment or its suitability for advanced dual-level ventilation modes, while allowing a wider range of potential bidders to participate.A2. A minimum T_low of 0.1 seconds is necessary for premature infants with ultra-fast breathing rates, it safely catches rapid expiratory flow drops in stiff lungs and to maximizes air trapping to keep collapsed alveoli open.Q2. Clause 6.3 — Leakage Monitoring Current requirement: The ventilator must feature advanced, real-time leak calculation and dynamic automatic leak compensation up to at least 25 L/min for neonatal and 60 L/min for adult profiles. Could you please confirm whether the minimum automatic leak compensation value for neonatal patients may be changed from 25 L/min to 15 L/min, while keeping the requirement for adult patients unchanged? We propose revising the requirement as follows: Dynamic automatic leak compensation up to at least 15 L/min for neonatal and 60 L/min for adult profiles. The proposed amendment would preserve the ventilator’s effective performance during non-invasive ventilation and spontaneous breathing applications, including patient–ventilator synchronization, prevention of auto-triggering, and maintenance of tidal volume delivery accuracy, while also broadening competition among potential bidders. We kindly ask you to consider the proposed amendments and revise the technical requirements accordingly.A2. The stricter 25 L/min requirement offers better safety with fewer false alarms.Q3. Regarding the CO₂ Monitoring Module ConfigurationThe following item is included in the list of supplied accessories:Reusable CO₂ sensor connection cable/pre-amplifier — 1 pc.This cable or pre-amplifier is used to connect a mainstream CO₂ sensor. At the same time, a sidestream CO₂ monitoring system does not require such a cable, as it uses a gas sampling line.In its current wording, this requirement may restrict the participation of ventilators equipped with sidestream CO₂ monitoring technology.To allow the participation of ventilators equipped with either mainstream CO₂ or sidestream CO₂ monitoring, we kindly request adding the clarification “if mainstream” and revising the item as follows:Reusable CO₂ sensor connection cable/pre-amplifier — 1 pc. The requirement will be modified in Section II: Schedule of Requirements within Amendment 1Q2: Please clarify the technical specification for Lot 1 of the tender documentation:"Availability of at least six pumps with adjustable plunger stroke: for blood, replacement solution, dialysate, filtrate, calcium, and heparin."This requirement appears to require clarification, as it does not correspond to the technical design and operating principles of modern Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) systems.An adjustable plunger stroke is a characteristic that applies exclusively to syringe pumps used for the administration of medications such as calcium and heparin.In contrast, the pumps used for blood, replacement solution, dialysate, and filtrate are peristaltic (roller) pumps by design. These pumps do not incorporate a plunger and, therefore, cannot have or be specified with an "adjustable plunger stroke."In this regard, we kindly request clarification as to whether:the requirement was intended to specify the availability of six separate pumps (blood, replacement solution, dialysate, filtrate, calcium, and heparin), rather than six pumps with an adjustable plunger stroke; andthe technical specification for Lot 1 will be revised to correct this technical inconsistency.A2: Please be informed that the requirement is changed and should be read as follows: " Availability of at least 6 independent individually adjustable pumps dedicated to the following lines: for blood, replacement solution (substitute), dialysis solution (dialysate), filtrate, calcium, heparin.
