Description
The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF), Office of Investment Management (OIM), is seeking Expression of Interest (“EOI”) from experienced institutional investment consultants with a strong track record advising large public funds and overseeing externally managed portfolios. The consultant must have at least five years of experience and demonstrated work with at least five institutional clients, each with over USD 50 billion in assets, as of Q1 2026, invested through external managers. The client base, its AUM and the consultant’s experience must be clearly disclosed. The required scope of services includes but not limited to: - Deep research coverage across equities, fixed income, and specialty strategies; - Full portfolio oversight responsibilities such as ongoing performance monitoring of external managers, strategic and tactical asset allocation, rebalancing; - Conducting end-to-end manager searches and making recommendations on hiring or terminating managers and implementation plan; - Risk management advice, including factor exposure and attribution analysis; - Advising clients who apply a Total Portfolio Approach and use customized benchmarks and has internally managed assets; - Evaluating manager contributions at the overall fund level; - Offering access to proprietary or third-party investment databases. Specific Requirements/Information The Investment Consultant must also provide the following services 1. Clearly defined processes for portfolio construction and review, strategic allocation and optimization, manager evaluation, and ongoing monitoring, including frequency, depth, and reporting outputs. 2. Providers must also describe structured methodologies for manager searches, including screening criteria, evaluation parameters, shortlist development, and implementation planning. 3. Provides performance attribution and factor analysis at both manager and total portfolio levels, advisory support on investment policies and governance, and access to data infrastructure. 4. The provider is required to disclose in depth the firm background, including ownership, client composition and AUM, references, research team expertise, assigned focal point, and compliance framework.
