New clarification added: Dear UNOPS Procurement Team,We kindly request clarification regarding the mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for the Mehtarlam project.We noted that the documents related to the Pre-Bid Meeting were uploaded today. Considering that these documents became available only today, we would appreciate your confirmation on whether attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting remains mandatory.Since there is still sufficient time remaining for the bidding process, we kindly request UNOPS to provide an opportunity for bidders to participate in the Pre-Bid Meeting, in order to ensure equal opportunity and fair competition for all bidders.Please note that a bidder may become aware of the bidding opportunity only 2 or 3 days before the scheduled date, while the mandatory pre-bid meeting is announced 10 days in advance. Therefore, both timelines should be taken into consideration to ensure that all bidders have sufficient time to receive the information, prepare, and participate in the pre-bid meetingIf attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting is mandatory, we kindly request your guidance on how bidders who were unable to attend due to the late availability of the documents will be accommodated.Thank you for your clarification and support.
