UNICEF Uzbekistan invites qualified institutions/companies to submit proposals for the development of a Framework for Gender Transformative and Inclusive Teaching-Learning Materials, including digital solutions, and the delivery of a capacity-building programme for authors.
The assignment will support the Republican Scientific-Methodological Center for the Development of Education (RSMCDE) in developing quality assurance tools, guidance and criteria for teaching-learning materials aligned with the new National Curriculum Framework, competency-based education, inclusive education, universal design for learning, gender-transformative approaches, socio-emotional learning, green competencies and digital learning. Further details on the scope of work, deliverables, timelines and requirements are provided in the attached Terms of Reference.
The assignment is expected to be implemented over 24 months and will consist of three phases. Progression to Phase II and Phase III will be subject to UNICEF’s satisfactory review of the preceding phase and the availability of funds.
Phase I: Development of the TLM Framework, criteria and guidance, including review of existing systems, consultations, scheduling, validation and finalization.
Phase II: Capacity-building and technical support for authors in developing, piloting, revising and verifying new teaching-learning materials, including digital solutions.
Phase III: Development and introduction of in-service teacher training modules on the new curriculum and teaching-learning materials.
