Description
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), intends to pre-qualify a group of organizations in a timely manner, and potentially solicit proposals from them shortly thereafter.
The services/outputs being sourced are:
Given the current sanctions environment, suppliers must confirm product availability from markets able to
supply Belarus, including post-Soviet countries, Türkiye, China, and other eligible sources.
The project is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus.
Its objective is to assess market availability and identify suppliers of advanced tools, methods and
technologies (ATMT) and related forestry protection materials.
These solutions will support the restoration of damaged forests and protect young coniferous stands against
the large pine weevil (Hylobius abietis)..
The requested goods may include, but are not limited to:
- the requested goods include forestry protection equipment and materials such as pheromone
attractants, weevil traps, waxing equipment, protective waxes, nozzles, film-forming liquids, and
related technical documentation
- demonstration of compliance with technical specifications and the ability to deliver the goods to
Minsk, Republic of Belarus, and
- confirmation of product availability from markets able to supply Belarus, including post-Soviet
countries, Türkiye, China, and other eligible sources..
