Electrical Works for the Connection and Activation of the FAO/PNUD Photovoltaic Plant in Santiago, Chile

A. The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) is headquartered in Santiago, Chile. It is one of the five regional commissions of the United Nations, established in 1948, and the promotion of social development in the region is one of its main objectives. Its offices are located in the Commune of Vitacura, Santiago, Chile. B. ECLAC, United Nations, invites companies established in Chile to submit their Expression of Interest to participate in a competitive process aimed at the Commissioning of the Photovoltaic Plant, based on an already defined electrical engineering design and already installed panels. ECLAC seeks to contact companies with proven experience in the assembly and commissioning of photovoltaic plants in Chile, with at least 5 years of experience. C. ECLAC values working with local suppliers who share its commitment to excellence, safety, and the highest technical standards. Companies will be allowed to express their intention to participate jointly, whether as a Consortium, Alliance, or Temporary Union of Companies (UTE). ECLAC must be informed of such intention once the companies are invited to participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage. ECLAC reserves the right to accept or reject such request for joint participation. The contractor must have a local representative in Chile and be able to respond to on-site service requests with qualified technicians. D. Please note that the United Nations cannot enter into contracts with companies that are not fully registered in UNGM. If your company is interested in responding to this EOI and is currently not fully registered as a vendor in the UNGM registry, it must register at Basic Level or higher at www.ungm.org. The awarded bidder must be registered in UNGM at Level 1 prior to contract award.      Specific Requirements/Information A. La Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL) tiene su sede en Santiago de Chile. Es una de las cinco comisiones regionales de las Naciones Unidas, establecida en 1948 y la promoción del desarrollo social de la región es uno de sus objetivos principales. Sus oficinas se encuentran en la Comuna de Vitacura, Santiago, Chile. B. La CEPAL, Naciones Unidas, invita a empresas establecidas en Chile a presentar su Expresión de Interés para participar en un proceso competitivo orientado a la Puesta en Marcha de la Planta Fotovoltaica, basados en una ingeniería eléctrica ya definida y paneles ya instalados. Se busca contactar con empresas con experiencia comprobada en Montaje y puesta en Marcha de Plantas Fotovoltaica en Chile, con al menos 5 años de experiencia. C. La CEPAL valora trabajar con proveedores locales que compartan su compromiso con la excelencia, la seguridad y los más altos estándares técnicos. Se permitirá que las empresas expresen su intención de participar en conjunto, ya sea como Consorcio, Alianza o Unión Temporal de Empresas (UTE). La CEPAL deberá ser informada de dicha intención una vez que las empresas sean invitadas a participar en la etapa de Solicitud de Propuesta (RFP). La CEPAL se reserva el derecho de aceptar o rechazar dicha solicitud de participación conjunta. El contratista deberá contar con un representante local en Chile y estar en condiciones de responder a solicitudes de servicio en terreno con técnicos calificados D. Tenga en cuenta que las Naciones Unidas no pueden celebrar contratos con empresas que no estén plenamente registradas en UNGM. Si su empresa está interesada en responder a esta EOI y actualmente no se encuentra plenamente registrada como proveedor en el registro de UNGM, deberá registrarse en el Nivel Básico o superior en www.ungm.org. El oferente adjudicado deberá registrarse en UNGM en el Nivel 1 antes de la adjudicación del contrato.
