Pre-Bid Site Visit

A pre-bid site visit will take place on Monday, 22 June 2026 at 11:00 AM. All interested bidders are strongly encouraged to attend in order to familiarize themselves with the site conditions, scope of work, and any constraints that may affect their proposals.

UNICEF shall accept no excuse or claim whatsoever from the selected contractor for not knowing or being able to properly evaluate the site conditions, including equipment, local materials, local labour, and any other requirements for the Works to be carried out.

 

Submission Requirements

Please ensure your submission includes the following completed and signed documents:

  1. Bid Form – signed and stamped.
  2. Annex B: Terms of Reference (TOR) – signed and accepted.
  3. Annex C: Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and Price Offer – filled with unit prices, total, and signed.

 

Mandatory Supporting Documents (as per TOR Evaluation Criteria):

1) Legal Status of the Bidder confirmed – Registration Certificate submitted and acceptable. Certificate from the Ministry of Commerce submitted and acceptable. (Note: In case the bidder could not obtain the updated one due to the current situation, the initial certificate will be accepted.)

 

2) List of Key Personnel submitted, acceptable, and includes an Engineer with at least 7 years' professional experience in construction projects.

 

3) Evidence that the company has all needed resources inside Gaza – submitted and acceptable.

 

Key requirements to note:

  • Bids must be in ILS (New Israeli Shekel) . UNICEF will reject bids submitted in other currencies.
  • The intended project duration is 1 calendar month from the start date.
  • A Defects Liability Period of 6 months applies.
