Description
Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
The Individual Consultant will develop a literature review in the ports sector focusing trends and developments, international governance frameworks, employment, just transitions, and decent and sustainable work.
The assignment includes compiling a bibliography and drafting a 5,000 word literature review (approx.); ensuring analytical coherence and alignment with relevant international governance frameworks and ILO standards; and taking into consideration just transitions, including technological change (digitalization and automation), greening of ports and formalization/regularization of employment. Mainly, the review would need to provide information on development and main challenges and opportunities related to the four pillars of the Decent Work Agenda: employment, social protection, social dialogue and fundamental principles and rights at work.
