Background

The Nature Restoration Investment Architecture Project is a UNDP initiative developed to define and test how priority nature restoration opportunities can be structured into credible, investable pathways for institutional capital.

The project is not intended to duplicate existing adjacent initiatives, build project pipelines, originate projects, develop ecosystem certificate mechanisms or direct policy and regulatory reform. Its purpose is to map what is already being solved, identify where a credible investment pathway may exist, and design and stress-test the institutional investment architecture needed to mobilize capital for nature restoration.

For this purpose UNDP intends to contract an Individual Consultant to provide time-bound, deliverable -based support for the preparation of analytical synthesis and decision-support outputs under the design-stage project. The consultant will contribute to defined outputs related to nature finance landscape and testbed assessment, investable pathway design, pilot concept development and final handover package.
