Provision of HVAC Maintenance Services to UNFICYP

1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the provision of Maintenance Services of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to UN locations island-wide, deliverable on an 'as and when' required basis. 2. UNFICYP has various types of HVAC systems. HVACs are used for cooling in the summer and for heating in winter. There are over 1000 units installed in the Headquarters location and at Sector level, with the majority being split type, along with some ceiling types and/or tower types. 3. The required Maintenance Services of HVAC systems shall mainly include, but not be limited to, the following: - Preliminary assessment - Preventive maintenance - Corrective maintenance - Other relative additional services 4. The locations where the bidder(s) shall provide the required HVAC Maintenance Services may include, but not be limited to, the following UNFICYP locations: 1 Camp General Stefanik, Famagusta 2 CP 10, Dherynia 3 HQ UNFICYP, UNPA, Nicosia 4 Ledra Palace Hotel, Nicosia 5 Medical Center Famagusta 6 Roca Camp, Lefke 7 San Martin Camp, Skouriotissa 8 Wolsey Barracks/ Civil Affairs, Nicosia 9 UN Flight / Fire Unit, Nicosia 10 Camp Saint Isthvan, Athienou 11 CO House Area, Nicosia 12 UNPOL Station Athienou 13 UNPOL Station/ Civil Affairs Dhenia 14 Military Police HQ Office (FMPU), UNPA, Nicosia 15 OP 54, Nicosia 16 UNPOL Station, Linou 17 OP126, Pyla 18 OP129, Pyla 19 OP149, Famagusta, Varosha 20 OP152, Famagusta, Varosha 21 OP18, Lefka 22 OP03, Kokkina 23 OP32, Astromeritis 24 OP38, Avlona 25 OP08, Kato Pirgos 26 OP91, Geri, Nicosia 27 Civil Affairs, Pyla 28 UNPOL Station, Dherinia 5. UNFICYP will require the Contractor to provide all planning, work schedules, services, labour, transport, materials, tools, plant and equipment and any associated administrative formalities required to implement and complete the specified maintenance services to HVAC systems. 6. The Contractor shall provide the required services in accordance with international HVAC standards, manufacturers’ recommendations, established engineering practice and to the satisfaction of UNFICYP. 7. The resulting contract shall be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year each. 8. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest by submitting the Vendor Response Form of this EOI electronically (through the link provided below) before the closing date stipulated above. UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expression of interest does not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. 11. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI.
