New clarification added: Question :Reference to RFQ/2026/63172, where the accepted brands are currently limited to PHILIPS, SIEMENS, GE, and CARESTREAM, we kindly request allowing our company to participate by offering Control-X Medical for the following reasons:- 1) Control-X is a European manufacturer specialized in the design and manufacturing of high quality X-ray systems since 1990, offering reliable, advanced, and cost-effective radiographic solutions according to the highest international quality standards; Obtained all quality assurance certificates. 2) Control-X advanced ceiling-suspended digital X-ray system and mechanism complies with, and exceeds, the technical, quality, and regulatory requirements accepted by RMS. With acknowledgments of its advancements and reliability. 3) Main components are supplied from internationally recognized and leading manufacturers, such as Canon X-ray tube from Japan, CPI generator from Canada, Vieworks Detectors from South Korea.4) Limiting participation to only four brands will unnecessarily reduce competition. Accepting qualified equivalent brands such as Control-X will give UNOPS and RMS more technically compliant options and better opportunity to obtain the most competitive price, including from the currently listed brands. We therefore kindly request amending the brand requirement to include Control-X Medical, or to accept equivalent internationally recognized brands. For your kind attaention, Shimadzu is a worldwide leading company in radiology equipment and technology and it is a Japanese brand which is usually accepted in Royal Medical Services (RMS).We already have installations of General Radiography Systems working in several RMS hospitals and healthcare centers. In the RFQ documents, Shimadzu was not mentioned as one of the accepted brands to participate, so could you please amend the General Work Conditions and add Shimadzu Coropration to the accepted brand list.Answer :Thank you for sharing the reasons and benefits of the proposed brand. However, the beneficiary requested to standardise the brands for internal operational reasons and considerationsQuestion:based on previous RFI for thie tender (Lot 2), there were multiple items (Ultrasounds with different appplications and Mobile Xray )can you please clairfy, why is this tender request X-ray only?
