UNESCO in collaboration with the Governments of Botswana, Malawi, and Zambia, through the generous support by the Government of Japan, are implementing the “Safeguarding Living Heritage in Basic Education in Botswana, Malawi, and Zambia” project across 18 schools. Building on successful pilots in Namibia and Zimbabwe, the initiative utilizes a whole-school approach to integrate intangible cultural heritage (ICH) into basic education systems in Botswana, Malawi, and Zambia.
The Consultant will serve as the technical lead and creative editor for the project's audio-visual documentation.
Consultant should be a national of one of the 9 countries under UNESCO Regional Office of Southern Africa; Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, South Africa, Malawi, Lesotho, Eswatini, Namibia, Botswana.
