MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS FIRM

Scope of Work

The selected Media and Communications Firm will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing media engagement and coverage activities for the National Clean Cooking Conference to be held in Arusha, Tanzania, on 10–11 June 2026. The firm shall develop and execute a comprehensive media outreach strategy to maximize visibility of the conference and its key messages before, during, and after the event.

Specifically, the firm will:

• Coordinate and secure media coverage across national television, radio, print, digital, and social media platforms.
• Facilitate media engagement activities to promote awareness of clean cooking solutions and the conference objectives.
• Manage live and recorded media coverage, including radio interviews, event broadcasts, and social media promotions.
• Support the dissemination of key conference messages, outcomes, innovations, policy recommendations, and stakeholder commitments.
• Engage relevant journalists, media houses, influencers, and digital content platforms to enhance public awareness and stakeholder participation.
• Monitor and document media coverage and audience engagement throughout the assignment.
• Prepare and submit a comprehensive media coverage report, including media reach estimates, engagement metrics, links to published content, and an assessment of the visibility generated by the conference.

The assignment is expected to contribute to increased public awareness of clean cooking solutions, enhanced visibility of government and development partner initiatives, strengthened media partnerships, and greater stakeholder engagement in Tanzania’s clean cooking agenda.
