If exempted, please confirm that the required exemption documents will be provided, and that bidders should quote the DAP price excluding such duties and taxes.UNOPS response: Yes, we confirm that the project is exempt from VAT and custom duties.Q2: With reference to the UTV specified for carrying a 200-liter firefighting skid unit, kindly consider revising the minimum wheelbase requirement from 1,800 mm to 2,000 mm.This request is made in consideration of the additional payload, water tank installation, and the resulting center of gravity of the vehicle when equipped for firefighting operations, with the aim of ensuring adequate stability during operation. This requirement will provide a more suitable platform for the firefighting configuration and help ensure compliance with operational safety expectations in field conditions.UNOPS response: Following a technical review, UNOPS confirms that the minimum wheelbase of 1,800 mm will be maintained. For the specified low-profile skid unit (1,100 × 900 × 650 mm, approximately 300-320 kg filled), this wheelbase provides adequate pitch stability for the intended operational conditions. Lateral stability, which is the primary concern for mountainous terrain operations, is governed by track width and is addressed through manufacturer design standards for vehicles in this class. The minimum wheelbase requirement therefore remains unchanged. Dear Sir/ Madam,Q3: Please advise us if we can off FCA Delivery Term.UNOPS response: Please be advised that DAP (Delivered at Place) remains the mandatory Incoterm that will be used for evaluation and contract award.
