UNOPS wishes to establish non-exclusive Long Term Agreements (LTAs) with more than one vendor and to display the selected units in electronic catalogues on UN Web Buy Plus (http://www.unwebbuyplus.org) allowing UNOPS clients to order without further tendering.
Quantities are undefined. UNOPS will not be committed to purchase any minimum quantity, and purchases will be made only if and when there is an actual requirement.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Interested vendors must respond to this tender using the UNOPS eSourcing system, via the UNGM portal. New clarification added: Esteemed Bidders,Please review the following clarification: 2. Question: Regarding LOT 24 (Heavy-duty orthopedic workshop press), could you please provide us with a reference picture and the required tonnage?Answer: Tonnage for this kind of press ranges from 10 tons to 30 tons. An amendment to the ITB will be published in the next few days to include this requirement for Lot 24.A reference picture is available on this link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/g55723GrqLDmsf7y5Please note that the picture is just for reference and the offers will be evaluated against the criteria described in the solicitation documents.3. Question: You indicated delivery in 21 days , this is not possible unless it is air freighted and in such case are you willing to pay the extra very high price ? Sea freight would take at least between 50-80 days .Answer: The standard delivery time is required under FCA terms so it does not include transit times.4. Question: The way i understand your request is that you are asking bidders to put each unit price in page noted as "Price schedule and you are asking for related spare parts with every offered machine in the consecutive lots ! , right ? please adviseAnswer: This is correct. The base price for the machine must be entered in the sheet “Price schedule” within file “6 ITB_Form C_Price Schedule Form.xlsx” without including any of the optional equipment and services. Please note that you must complete the three volume-based price columns for the base machine: FCA Unit price (Qty 1-4), FCA Unit price (Qty 5-9), and FCA Unit price (Qty >9).The individual sheets corresponding to the lots (Lot 1 to Lot 31) must be filled out for the optional equipment and services. As stated in the Returnable Bidding Forms and Tender Particulars, Mandatory Optional Items and Services must be offered for the bid to be compliant. Non-Mandatory Optional Items may be offered or not at the Bidder's discretion.5. Question: By indicating "Unit Price / Daily rate " the time spent to install or to maintain any offered equipment ?Answer: For goods, enter the unit price. For services, enter the daily rate for the personnel necessary to perform the service. At the time of placing an order, this rate will be used together with the time required to perform the service to calculate the cost. The time required for the service will be agreed with the LTA holder before placing the order.6. Question: Regarding OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES , some parts we need to offer , some others we are free to offer or not ?Answer: This is correct. Mandatory Optional Items and Services must be offered. Non-Mandatory Optional Items can be offered or not at the Bidders discretion.7. Question: Can you provide the specs of the needed PPE that you noted in some lots?Answer: There are no minimum requirements for this option and Bidders are encouraged to propose relevant equipment of appropriate quality for each machinery.8. Question: Some items if not the majority are " Plug and Play " thus offering installation or commissioning or maintenance is not applicable so please what should we do in such case ?Answer: Bidders are encouraged to provide a daily rate. The procurement of multiple different equipments for one location may justify the arrangement of installation and commissioning services.9.
