New clarification added: Good morning,We are providing a link to an accredited BBC report of the kidnapping of a senior person within the Haiti Government :-https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cz9le087414oWe once again raise the question of "In the event of an award what security will be provided for a manufacturer's technicain to while he is present on the island in order to undertake the installation and training of the goods at the NPA site?"Would the UNOPS team consider all services to be undertaken by way of remote video instruction?We await UNOPS Haiti's response concerning the safety of visiting technican(s).A :We acknowledge the report provided. Please be advised that, unfortunately, these types of security events are a daily reality in Haiti.As previously communicated, UNOPS cannot take in charge the responsibility for the security or safety of any visiting technicians or external personnel, nor can we provide any security arrangements or escorts. It is the sole responsibility of the supplier to make their own dispositions and operational arrangements to safely fulfill the contract requirements.If you deem it unsafe to send your manufacturer's technician to the island, it remains your responsibility to find a viable alternative to deliver the requested services by hiring or partnering with a qualified local subcontractor.

New clarification added: To ensure the proposed solution matches the application, could you kindly confirm the available power supply at the installation site?A : The available power supply at the installation site is 110V/60 Hz, single-phase. Please note that there is already a generator available on-site to provide backup power. However, the proposed equipment must still include integrated protection against power surges and outages, and its power consumption must be compatible with a standard commercial installation

New clarification added: Our manufacturer's technical team urgently await the detailed water analysis for INPUT source water as this is information is required for them to be able to finalise the design and sizing of the two plug and play units being requested.As the UNOPS team will appreciate the sizing of the units is also affecting final pricing of the units and enabling the systems to be fully compliant with the water output qualities as called for under the terms of the RFQWhen can this information be shared with us?.A : the analysis have been included through the amendment and can be found in the Annex 1

This information is intended to assist bidders in performing precise design calculations for the appropriate selection and sizing of the proposed treatment systems.Deadline Extension (Closing Date): The deadline for bid submission is extended from 15 June 2026 at 2:00 PM Haiti time to Wednesday, 24 June 2026 at 2:00 PM Haiti time.Clarification Period Extension: The final date for clarification requests is extended from 9 June 2026 at 2:00 PM Haiti time to Wednesday, 17 June 2026 at 2:00 PM Haiti time.All other terms and conditions of the original Request for Quotation (RFQ) remain in effect without modification.We anticipate receiving your proposals by the revised deadline of 24 June 2026 at 2:00 PM Haiti time.Best regards,UNOPS Procurement

New clarification added: Having reviewed the bid documentation, we request consideration is given to extend the bid close date as :-1 the current uncertainties created by the Iran/USA conflict is making it extremely difficult to obtain sensible freight rates to Haiti2 The time to assemble all of the requeted information from manufacturers is not sufficient.A : In light of these circumstances, UNOPS is granting an extension for this tender. The new deadline for the submission of quotations will be extended to June 24, 2026 through an amendment3 Because of the on-going security situation in Haiti, where are the units to be physically installedA : The water treatment units are to be physically installed at the National Police School (École Nationale de Police - ENP) located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti4 What security arrangements will the UNOPS team provide for receiving and organising the requested engineer for him to undertake his services safely?A : Please note that UNOPS is not in a position to provide security arrangements or escorts for any external personnel. Given the current security context, we strongly suggest that you hire or partner with a local consultant or subcontractor on-site to undertake the installation, commissioning, and training services.5 We await your sharing of the input water quality findingsA :The analysis will be added to the tender through an amendment

Confirmation of the water source feeding the facility:- Is the raw water supplied from a groundwater well, or- Is it supplied through a municipal/main water distribution system?A : The water is supplied through a municipal/main water distribution system2. A copy of the most recent physical and chemical water quality analysis for the source water A: A copy of two analysis will be added to the tender through an amendment.
