Provision of Satellite Voice, Data and Hardware

UNSMIL aims to obtain the services of a provider authorized by Iridium and Thuraya for the provision of satellite voice and data services, as well as associated hardware. The Contract shall be valid for an initial period of three (3) years with the option to extend the contract by two (2) additional one-year periods. Services: a) Satellite Voice Services offered must be compatible with Iridium and Thuraya legacy devices, as well as devices available in the market during the contract period. b) Satellite Data At a minimum, Iridium and Thuraya satellite data services shall be available 24x7 and be accessible from all countries and territories, subject to local restrictions and network coverage, using the full range of terminals/devices available on the market during the contract period, including vehicle-mounted terminals. c) Hardware associated with Satellite Voice & Data Services The contractor is required to supply hardware, spares, and accessories associated with the services. A catalogue shall be provided. Location: The area of operation for UNSMIL covers Libya and Tunisia. However, given the global nature of satellite voice and data services, products, and services may be used anywhere in the world.
