New amendment added #1: Dear Bidders,The purpose of Amendment No. 01 to ITB/2026/62843 is to:1. Revise the Form B _ Price Schedule FormAmendments have been made to the training component to reflect changes for Lot 1. This change updates the first two items in the training section from online training to onsite/physical training with countries in purple color. Bidders are required to provide cost breakdowns for both the onsite/physical training and the online training options. New clarification added: Dear Bidders, Please note the below-raised questions and our official responses in connection with the Invitation to Bid, ref. ITB/2026/62843.Question 01: Do we need on-site installation and commissioning in so many countries, or can we just provide online guidance.because we see the training is online training?Answer 01: The installation/onsite training applies only for Item 1 and Item 2 of Lot 1. “ITB_2026_62843_Lot No 1 _ Form B_Price Schedule Form” has been updated to reflect the onsite training for only item 1 and Item 2 of Lot 1. Beneficiary countries for these items are Ghana, Rwanda and Seychelles.Question 02: Kindly clarify the number of units required per respective country of destination.Answer 02: Please see Form B (Price Schedule); the quantity of units for each country is provided in parentheses and red color.Question 03: Please share the quantities required for each item per Lot.Answer 03: Please refer to the answer in no. 2 above.Question 04: I only want to participate in two countries and leave out the rest, how do I go about that?Answer 04: Bidders are authorized to submit price quotations for one or more Lots defined within this solicitation, rather than on a per-country basis. It is mandatory for bidders to propose 100% of the items and 100% of the specified quantities for each selected Lot. Evaluation of submissions shall be performed exclusively on a per-Lot basis.Question 05: We'd like to check if it is mandatory to offer the onsite training and maintain service? Answer 05: Yes, as specified in the Price Schedule, on-site training and maintenance services are mandatory where explicitly indicatedQuestion 06: According to the Technical specifications you have provided, do you have any preferred manufacturers or brands that meet the End user needs without struggle. i.e The End has interacted with that brand or model before hence making it easier for use and integrate into their operations.Answer 06: The technical specifications are drafted as generic as possible to ensure fair and wide competition. Any manufacturer/brand that meets the specifications and fulfills all requirements will be accepted. There is no preference for any brand/product.Question 07: Will you be into consideration in terms of prices given that from past experience, the bidders who manufacturers have an added advantage compared to a reseller( who has to add profit margins). In other words, equal playground between manufacturers and resellers.Answer 07: This procurement process is open to both direct manufacturers and authorized resellers. The evaluation methodology follows a two-stage process where the technical evaluation is conducted prior to the financial assessment. Bidders, whether manufacturers or resellers, who satisfy all the criteria listed below shall proceed to the financial evaluation stage. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest-priced bids that are found to be substantially compliant with all requirements.Compliance with technical specificationsCompliance with warranty requirementsProvision of compliant services during the warranty periodSubmission of all required and compliant certificationsAdherence to any other stipulated requirementsQuestion 08: Is it acceptable to propose a better model that meets and exceeds the given Technical specifications?Answer 08: Any model that meets or exceeds the requirements will be accepted.Question 09: Can we submit a partial bid for Items under Lot 2? We have few products available under our product portfolio but not portable Fridge/Freezer.Answer 09: Please refer to our answer in No. 4 above. Please be advised that partial bids shall be excluded from the evaluation process. This Q&A shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.Thank you.
