Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to identify a suitable contractor to develop an evidence-based regulatory technical reference framework for herbal medicines and assess its potential integration into the WHO Global Benchmarking Tool (GBT). The work will include a comprehensive review and comparative analysis of global regulatory approaches for herbal medicines across the product life cycle, identification of relevant regulatory functions, indicators and sub-indicators, targeted technical consultations with WHO and external experts, and development of technical options for GBT integration. The assignment will also include pilot testing in at least two countries to assess feasibility and inform refinement of the final technical package.
