New clarification added: Question:The technical specification references EN 14509 as the standard for fire resistance of the panels. We note that EN 14509 is the European product standard for self-supporting double skin metal faced insulating panels, which covers dimensional, thermal, and structural properties, but does not define fire classification classes. Fire classification (including class B) is governed by EN 13501-1, which is the European standard for the reaction-to-fire classification of construction products.Could you kindly clarify the following:1. Does the requirement intend that panels must be certified under EN 14509 as a product standard?2. Does the requirement intend that panels must achieve a minimum fire classification of class B under EN 13501-1?3. Are both certifications required, or is one sufficient?Answer:The tender requirement defined is the use of the PIR panels with a minimum fire classification of Class B as defined under EN 13501-1. Therefore, only a fire resistance certificate is necessary to comply with this requirement.
