Description
The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) requires a long-term contract for the supply and delivery of various brands spare parts, accessories & consumables for the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of vehicles and equipment on an 'as and when required basis' DAP (Incoterms 2010) UNGSC, Brindisi (Italy). The items to be supplied are grouped in the following LOTs: LOT 1 AUTOMOTIVE BATTERIES & CONSUMABLES LOT 2 HARDWARE LOT 3 ACCESSORIES LOT 4 VEHICLE CLEANING PRODUCTS & ADDITIVES LOT 5 ENGINE FILTERS & PARTS LOT 6 ELECTRICAL ACCESSORIES & LIGHT UNITS The UN reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to award separate or multiple contracts based on full LOTs for same or different elements covered by this ITB in any combination it may deem appropriate, or only a portion of the requirements. Unit prices must be quoted DAP (Delivered At Place) UNGSC, Brindisi (Italy) in accordance with INCOTERMS 2010. The successful Contractor is expected to deliver the spare parts ordered within maximum twenty (20) working days from the receipt of the Purchase Order from UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy, and the goods must conform to EU legislations. The resulting contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years, with the UNGSC's sole option to extend the term for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each (3+1+1 years) for a maximum of five (5) years, subject to the UN's operational requirements and the satisfactory performance of the contractor The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage. Interested vendors must possess the necessary technical expertise and capacity to supply the required supplies, as only suitably qualified vendors will be invited to participate in the solicitaiton process, which will commence upon finalization of this REOI exercise. Specific Requirements/Information Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify eligible vendors that would be interested in participating in the related upcoming tender. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel this REOI at any time. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation documents when issued. Only Vendors who, in the UN's sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified may receive the final tender solicitation documents. Vendors submitting an Expression of Interest must be registered with UNGM at minimum, the Basic Level. Vendors who are not registered in UNGM will not be eligible to participate in the subsequent solicitation stage. In order to be eligible for the award, the Vendor must be registered with the UN Secretariat through the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) for the required Level of Registration, which is "Level 1", before the award of the Contract. Details of the technical evaluation criteria and other specific requirements will be shared with vendors invited to the solicitation. Vendors with any of the following attibutes are strongly encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest: (a) Disability inclusive orgamizations, (b) Demonstrated commitment to achieving gender equality (c) Recognized status as a woman-owned busines (d) Vendors from developing countries, countries with economies in transition or least developed countries.
