In this amendment for this item, the unit of measure is provided as Square Meters, and the quantity is provided as 88. Hence bidders are strongly advised to note that the quantity for item no. 1.2 is 88 Square Meters The amended BoQ that shows the unit of measure as Square Meters and the quantity as 88 for item 1.2 is now provided under the document section with a file name “ 5. 2nd Amended BoQ_Lot 02-Cat.07_Kassala- Modified” . New clarification added: Dear Vendors , Please see the below clarification questions from a vendor and UNOPS responses provided to the clarification questions: 1. Vendor’s clarification Question:We would like to request clarification on the following points regarding the three BOQs for Lot 1 and the BOQ for Lot 2:Missing formulas / totals – All files and sheets currently lack functioning multiplication formulas and correct totals.UNOPS Response: Please note that an amendment has been provided in all BoQs to include functioning multiplication formulas and formulas for total prices . Vendors are required to insert unit prices so that total prices for individual items and grand total prices can be populated accordingly. 2. Vendor’s clarification Question:General items sheet – The quantity for each item is listed as 1 (e.g., the sign board item shows quantity 1). Our understanding is that this quantity should equal the number of sites (e.g., 11 sites in Kasala). The same applies to the other items.UNOPS Response: Each category has its own general items as per UNOPS standard. The vendors can estimate his costs then divide it in portions for each category3. Vendor’s clarification Question:Electrical bill sheet – We believe the length of DC cables provided will not be sufficient for all boreholes in each BOQ.UNOPS Response: Its measurement contract if there any increasing or decreasing will be subjected to final measurement on site ,4. Vendor’s clarification Question:Structural sheet – You have presented the solar panel structure in square meters and then multiplied that figure by the number of boreholes category. We believe these figures are incorrect. For example, in Lot 1 – BOQ Arbaat – Modified, the structural sheet asks to multiply the total for the steel structure item by 4, and the steel fence item by 7. Our understanding is that these should be multiplied by the total number of boreholes (i.e., 11 sites).UNOPS Response: The BoQs have been modified to address this question accordingly. Please refer to the amendment text and the amended BoQs for detail. 5. Vendor’s clarification Question:Regarding Kassala Boreholes, In the location list provided in the tender documents for kassala, there is cat 5 list, which includes 7 locations, while there is 2 BOQ excel sheets one for Cat 5 and one for Cat 7, Cat 7 does not have a location list. Question 1: Shall we proceed with pricing cat 5 only, or shall we price both Cat 5 & Cat 7 BOQ’s. Question 2: in the BOQ cat 5 kassala , BILL C-30 PVs GM STRUCTURE, the subtotal is multiplied once by 4 & again by 7, which is the correct one?UNOPS Response: With regard to question no. 1, Please note that all BOQs should be priced separately.With regard to question no. 2- Please note that an mendment is provided on the BoQs to address this question . Please refer to the amendment text and the amended BoQs for detail. In addition , Please note that there are 26 units ofSolars for boreholes, 15 in Red Sea and 11 in Kassala.With regard to the deatils of the the boreholes, please note that all these lists of Boreholes for Lot 1 & Lot 2 are provided under the section SCHEDULE 2: PROJECT SPECIFIC INFORMATION, page 18 to 20 under the “ Small Works - 6 Solicitation - RFQ 04 Sections II, III, IV, V (2).docx (5)” uploaded under the document section of the tender .
