Description

Dear all,

UNFPA (the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency) announces the republication of the Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the supply of fallopian rings, related accessories, and kitting services. The purpose of this ITB is to establish an initial set of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for supplies related to tubal ligation, a new product category for UNFPA.

This solicitation, UNFPA/DNK/ITB/24/022, is a republication of an opportunity that was previously opened in February 2026 and subsequently cancelled in April 2026 (Quantum negotiation number UNFPA-HQ-00030). The key differences that will apply to the updated version of this ITB are the acceptance of partial bids.

Bidders responding to this new ITB version will be required to submit an offer for the fallopian rings themselves, and will have the option to submit an offer for some, all, or none of the complementary accessories. The three requested accessories are the telescopic applicator, application cone, and cone loader. Though partial bids are accepted, preference will be given to bidders that can offer more of the requested accessories in addition to the fallopian rings.

The new ITB will be published on Quantum under negotiation number UNFPA-HQ-00045 with a corresponding announcement on UNGM by 18th May 2026. It will be open for submissions for a period of approximately 5 weeks, with a final deadline of 22nd June 2026. Bidders will be asked to submit a Bid Confirmation Form acknowledging their interest to participate in this ITB upon the launch of the submission period in Quantum.

We look forward to your participation in this updated ITB for the supply of fallopian rings and related accessories.
