Description
Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) represents industrial enterprises, delivers specialised services, and contributes to economic development. In response to evolving enterprise needs, export challenges, labour market dynamics, and demand for more targeted services, there is a need to review its organisational structure and service portfolio. Enhancing JCI’s relevance, efficiency, and financial sustainability requires a systematic assessment and an updated operational model. With ILO support, this assignment aims to strengthen JCI’s capacity to deliver high quality, demand driven services and ensure the sustainability of its technical units. The objective is to assess JCI’s current structure and services and propose evidence based options for restructuring, service improvement, and financial sustainability, while supporting initial implementation and monitoring. Key tasks include analysing organisational functions and service delivery, gathering enterprise feedback, proposing a revised structure—particularly for export promotion and labour market services—developing an income generating business model, and establishing a monitoring framework for implementation.
