The United Nations Office for Project Services (hereinafter referred to as UNOPS) is pleased to invite prospective bidder to submit bid for the Provision of Training Services onPoint-of-Care Diagnostics Development: Molecular & Immunological Techniques, QMS, and Product Development Process in accordance with the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract and the Schedule of Requirements as set out in this Request for Qoutation (RFQ).

New clarification added: Dear Bidders,One of the interested bidders has raised the below clarification questions, and the same have been responded to accordingly. Kindly find below the clarification questions along with UNOPS’ responses.Do you accept FCA or CFR incoterm? This requirement is for the provision of training services, not for the supply of goods. Therefore, Incoterms are not applicable for this procurement process.Do you accept external registered companies outside your country to participate and to be equally evaluated with local registered companies?Yes. International companies are eligible to participate and will be evaluated in accordance with the requirements and evaluation criteria specified in the solicitation document.Will importing and customs clearance be done under UNOPS name in your country?This procurement is for training services and does not involve importation of goods requiring customs clearance.We are distributor of many manufacturers but those vendors have no local representatives in your country. So would you accept shipping you the items and full process of customs clearance to be done under your name?As indicated above, this requirement is for training services and does not involve shipment or customs clearance activities.Customs clearance for importing will be done from A-Z by you and there will be 100% VAT and customs fees exemption. So nothing will be paid by the supplier?Customs clearance and import-related matters are not applicable to this procurement process.Is there any restrictions on country of origin and manufacturing countries or all brand names from any source country will be accepted?Since this is a service procurement, country of origin/manufacturing restrictions are not applicable.Do you accept quality certificates to be provided by manufacturer only as we are just distributor?This requirement is for provision of training services. Bidders are requested to submit documents demonstrating compliance with the qualification and technical requirements specified in the RFQ.Is there any installation or maintenance required?No installation or maintenance services are required under this procurement.Is any mandatory periodic maintenance required for this project?No periodic maintenance is required.Do you accept partial quoting, or must two items be quoted?Bidders are advised to follow the quotation requirements and structure as indicated in the RFQ document.Will you accept signing the contract and PO in our company name? Plus, will payment be made to our bank account in another country?Contracting and payment arrangements shall be handled in accordance with UNOPS financial and contractual procedures and based on the information provided by the successful bidder during the contracting stage.Would you please extend deadline for 20 days more as we need more time to prepare offer?Please note that a reasonable bidding period has already been provided for this solicitation, and the submission deadline has already been extended once.
