United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Jordan, seeks the interest of qualified vendors and Service Providers to participate in an upcoming tender solicitation for the Construction and commissioning of stormwater detention, flood‑mitigation, landscaping, MEP and irrigation infrastructure at Prince Rashed Roundabout. The project seeks to strengthen Amman’s resilience to water-related challenges, including flash flooding and water insecurity. UNON invites companies to express their interest for pre-qualification, by expressig interest in UNGM and submitting their response to pre-qualification criteria attached to this REOI to the email addresses; may.mutua@un.org cc unon-rfx-procurement@un.org by 18 May 2026. The prequalification documents submission should state the EOI reference number and title in the subject header. The scope of works shall include but not limited to: • Surveys and Investigations: Topographic and geotechnical survey checks, including verification of existing data, to establish accurate site conditions for design and execution. • Site Preparation and Earthworks: Site mobilization, clearance, demolition, excavation, grading, and soil improvement works to prepare the site for construction. • Civil and Structural Works: Construction of foundations, concrete and structural elements, and associated infrastructure in accordance with approved designs and specifications. • Landscaping Works: Implementation of both hardscape (walkways, retaining structures) and softscape (planting, turfing) to enhance functionality and environmental integration. • MEP Works: Installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including power distribution, lighting, pumps, and water management systems. • Irrigation and Agricultural Systems: Installation of automated irrigation networks and related agricultural infrastructure to support landscaped and productive areas. Important* Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its sole purpose is to pre-qualify vendors who would be shortlisted to participate in the subsequent upcoming tenders. The pre-qualification criteria is attached to this REOI. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not therefore automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for issuance of the solicitation documents. Only vendors who in the UN's sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the EOI submissions may receive the final tender solicitation documents. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process Specific Requirements/Information IMPORTANT: Applicants must express their interest for pre-qualification by completing the following two steps: a) Expressing interest in UNGM; and then, b) Submitting their response to pre-qualification criteria attached to this REOI to the email addresses; may.mutua@un.org cc unon-rfx-procurement@un.org by 18 May 2026. Other Information: The applicant shall note that the United Nations reserves the right to assess and verify all information provided by the applicant for the above criteria. All documents submitted by applicants for this REOI must be written in English. All applications, including the required documents, shall be submitted within the timeline stipulated in this REOI. Applications submitted after the REOI closing date will only be accepted at the discretion of UNON. Each applicant who meets the three (3) minimum requirements will be deemed to have the technical capacity and professional experience to carry out the works. Applicants who do not satisfy the three (3) pre-qualification criteria will be regarded as non-conforming and will not be invited to participate in the ensuing competitive bidding process. Applicants should note that UNON, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to request additional information or documentation if required. No payment will be made by UNON to applicants or any other entity for any costs, expenses, losses, or damages incurred or suffered by the applicant or any other entity arising out of, or in connection with, the preparation of the application.
