Description
The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC), with its Headquarters located in Brindisi, Italy, seeks a qualified and experienced company for the one-time supply and installation of a new electromechanical door at Building 20 at the UNGSC in Brindisi, Italy.
The scope of works includes the delivery of a turnkey solution, comprising all design, supply, installation, civil and industrial works, electrical integration, testing, commissioning, and certification activities required to render the electromechanical door system fully operational.
The works will be executed in three phases, including but not limited to:
• Phase 1 – Executive Design, including site survey, executive architectural, structural and electrical design, contractor safety plan, and detailed work plan;
• Phase 2 – Industrial and Civil Works, including the supply and installation of one (1) motorized electromechanical sliding folding door, supporting galvanized steel structure with foundations, new electrical system and integration with existing infrastructure, sandwich panels infill, rainwater flashing, and PVC strip curtain door;
• Phase 3 – Testing and Commissioning, including final testing, certificates of conformity, as-built documentation, disposal of materials, and site cleaning.
All works shall include all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, lifting devices, transportation, consumables, and qualified personnel.
Subcontracting is permitted only for minor activities. The contractor shall, however, retain direct and exclusive responsibility for the core works and services, specifically the supply and installation of the electromechanical door system, and shall ensure that all works are delivered in full compliance with the terms of the Scope of Requirements (SOR).
The complete technical requirements and administrative instructions will be provided with the solicitation documents package to be issued at a later stage following the closing date for this EOI.
This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements during the REOI and solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your Company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation documents when issued.
