Description
Dear bidders,
The UN Joint Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE), in collaboration with the ILO –Japan Project on Promoting a Safe and Healthy Working Environment in Thailand and Cambodia, is seeking qualified consultants to undertake a comprehensive research study on heat exposure in Cambodia’s agriculture sector.
This research will combine different measuring tools and devices to generate real world data on core body temperature, workload, work–rest patterns, hydration, perceived heat strain, and environmental conditions across diverse agricultural activities including crop farming, livestock, and fishing/aquaculture. The study aims to quantify the frequency and severity of unsafe heat exposure, identify high risk tasks and conditions, and assess the impacts of heat on health and productivity. Findings will support national efforts to strengthen occupational safety, climate resilience, and evidence-based policies for protecting workers in Cambodia’s agricultural sector.
Interested consultants are invited to submit an expression of interest and follow the instructions provided to access the detailed terms of reference and related materials on the ILO e sourcing platform.
Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline.
Thank you.
