Description
1. Overview The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) intends to source for suppliers, that provide small tools, equipment and related supplies, for trainings on Environmental Management Systems in Bangladesh. This RFI serves as our sourcing efforts to identify suppliers capable of providing solutions for the requirements outlined below in paragraph 2.2. 2. General Requirements 2.1 The required tools will be used for demonstration and practise in our training sessions for the peacekeepers. The training session is organised and conducted at the Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operations Training (BIPSOT), Gazipur, Bangladesh. 2.2. The vendor shall propose the items to be supplied according to the following categories: Lot 1: Solar & Electrical Testing Lot 2: Solar Installation & Electrical Tools Lot 3: Mechanical & Power Tools Lot 4: PPE & Safey Equipment Detailed training tool requirements listed in Annex A. Specific Requirements/Information Please provide the following information: i. Information and estimtated prices for the above required tool lists. ii. The delivery cost of each required item shall be included in the estimated material cost. ** Interested suppliers shall submit their response to this RFI by email to verawan.phatrathamrongchai@un.org no later than the closing date of this RFI. This announcement is a Request For Information (RFI) only, not a solicitation for offers. No contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement. i. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. ii. No solicitation document is available at this stage. ii. Industry responses, as a result of this announcement, shall focus on providing recommendations for the requirements as detailed in the specific requirements in Appendix A. iv. Information provided in the RFI may be used by ESCAP in the preparation of future solicitation documents.s ESCAP appreciates your assistance with this market research exercise. This request is issued for planning purposes only. Responses will not be considered as proposals, but may be used to create any subsequent Request for Quotation (RFQ). Respondents should clearly indicate any proprietary information submitted in response to this RFI.
