Description
1. Overview
The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) intends to source for suppliers that provide Heavy Engineering Equipment lease contracts in Thailand. This RFI serves as our sourcing efforts to identify suppliers capable of providing solutions for the requirements outlined below.
2. General Requirements
2.1 The heavy engineering equipment will be used for demonstration and practise in our training session for the UN peacekeepers. The training session is organised and conducted by the United Nations in Chonburi Province, Thailand, for an estimated duration of 5–8 weeks in Q4 2027.
2.2 At least one on-site supplier personnel is required for stand-by maintenance and other issues related to the leased equipment for the entire duration of estimated 5-8 weeks in Q4 2027.

Specific Requirements/Information
Please provide the following information:
ii. Information and pricing range for "dry lease" per equipment unit, on a "daily rate" basis, for the above listed machinery and quantities.
iii. Capabilties, information and pricing range for "service support", including mobilization and demobilisation of equipment.
iv. Provide information on your servicing, maintenance, repairs and breakdown policies.
v. Provide pricing range for on-site personnel.
vi. Provide an overview of your organization's experience and operational capacity in Thailand, and capabilities of supporting HEE rental in Chonburi Province.
** Interested suppliers shall submit their response to this RFI by email to verawan.phatrathamrongchai@un.org no later than the closing date of this RFI.
This announcement is a Request For Information (RFI) only, not a solicitation for offers. Accordingly, no contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement.
i. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.
ii. No solicitation document is available at this stage.
ii. Industry responses, as a result of this announcement, shall focus on providing recommendations for the requirements as detailed in the specific requirements in Appendix A - G.
iv. Information provided in the RFI may be used by ESCAP in the preparation of future solicitation documents.s

Responses will not be considered as proposals, but may be used to create any subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP). Respondents should clearly indicate any proprietary information submitted in response to this RFI.
