New clarification added: Question 2 :With reference to the following Request for Information:Plastic Waste Management Equipment and Related Services – Support to MSMEs in LibyaRFI Reference No.: RFI/2026/62445We would kindly like to request clarification regarding the correct submission deadline, as we noticed a discrepancy between the main document and the online platforms, as follows:The document “Annex A - RFI_2026_62445 - Main Document” indicates that the RFI closing date is 25 May 2026.However, both the UNGM platform and the UNOPS eSourcing platform indicate the deadline as 15 May 2026.Therefore, we would appreciate your clarification on the officially confirmed submission deadline.In addition, we would highly appreciate it if the deadline could remain or be extended until 25 May 2026, as we only became aware of this opportunity today, 7 May 2026. This additional time would allow us to prepare a more comprehensive and competitive technical and commercial proposal with the best possible specifications and pricing.Thank you very much for your cooperation and support. New clarification added: Question 1 : How much production capacity they need for the machines and if the required motor power can be modified.Specification are not in detailed.Kindly issue detailed specification and also extende the submission date by one week more.Response 1 : Production capacity requirements:The indicative production capacities required per MSME are as follows:Coco Company (Lot 1): Plastic shredding and washing line – minimum capacity of approximately 200–300 kg/h (indicative, to be confirmed by supplier based on proposed solution)Life Makers (Lot 3): PET/PP sheet extrusion line – minimum capacity of approximately 150–250 kg/hInt'l Experts (Lot 4): PET egg tray thermoforming machine – minimum capacity of approximately 1,000–1,500 trays/hSuppliers are encouraged to propose equipment capacities that are suitable for small-to-medium scale plastic recycling operations, taking into account the site conditions described in the RFI annexes. Suppliers may propose alternative capacities with justification. 2.The submission deadline will not be extended. Suppliers are kindly requested to submit their responses within the timeframe indicated in the RFI.Thank you
