Description

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) intends to procure the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, and training of water quality testing equipment and apparatus to support the establishment and operationalization of two One Stop Service Centers (OS2Cs) in Mandera County under the SDG‑MPTF DS0214 Integrated Water Resource Management Joint Programme. The procurement aims to engage a qualified and experienced service provider capable of delivering comprehensive microbiological and physicochemical water quality testing equipment in strict compliance with approved technical specifications. The scope of the contract includes delivery of equipment to Elwak Town (Mandera South) and Mandera Town (Mandera East), installation and calibration of all equipment, commissioning, and provision of on‑site training to OS2C youth technicians, IOM staff, and relevant stakeholders. The assignment further includes warranty and after‑sales support to ensure sustainability and long‑term usability of the equipment. Given the technical complexity of the requirement and the inclusion of installation, commissioning, and training services, the procurement will be conducted through a Request for Proposal (RFP) using a combined technical and financial evaluation methodology with a weighting of 70% technical and 30% financial. The procurement process will ensure transparency, competition, and best value for money, with all equipment required to be fully operational within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of contract award, in full compliance with the approved technical specifications.
