Question 16:Additionally, the BoQ does not clearly specify whether the mounting structure is intended for a single solar panel or multiple panels. However, 250 Ah lead-acid/GEL deep-cycle batteries are scarce in the market and are often out of stock. Could we alternatively use a 200 Ah battery, which is readily available, for item number 1?Response (13)No. Bidder must comply with the required technical specifications.Question 14 : We acknowledge the revised Price Schedule and Schedule of Requirements, noting that the PV panel has now been removed from item number 2. In this case, an AC input source (i.e., grid or generator) is required. Please confirm whether the grid will be available for charging the backup system.Response (14):No, for item 2 we do not require the system to be charged by the grid or a generator. However, it is not yet clear whether the roofs are concrete, tile, or metal. This will be determined later.Question 12 : How many of these solar structures would be installed on the ground and what type of ground these solar structures would be installed on please list? Response (12)Most UNOPS staff are residing in residential apartments, and it is not yet confirmed how many requests we will receive in the future for ground-floor units.
