ITB: LONG TERM AGREEMENT - EXTERNAL CLEANING, GARDENING & LANDSCAPING SERVICES
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Nigeria Country Office seeks to engage the services of a reputable and experienced service provider to deliver External Cleaning, Gardening, and Landscaping Services at the United Nations House, Abuja. These services will be provided on behalf of United Nations Agencies, Funds, and Programmes operating in Nigeria, including but not limited to UNDP, UNDSS, UNICEF, UNFPA, FAO, UN Women, UNAIDS, UNESCO, WMO, UNIDO, UNIC, WHO, UNODC, ILO, UN Resident Coordinator’s Office (RCO), UNOPS, UNSE4ALL, UN Global Compact Office (GCO), UN-Habitat, and WIPO. The selected service provider may also be required to deliver similar services at other UN office locations across Nigeria.
The selected company will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across all external areas, as well as well-kept and manicured lawns within the UN House Abuja premises. Service delivery shall be carried out using appropriate methods, techniques, and environmentally friendly products designed to prevent or minimize any adverse environmental impact.
The resulting contract will be established between the selected company (hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider”) and the United Nations Development Programme Nigeria (hereinafter referred to as the “Lead Agency”).
The contract will be structured as a Long-Term Agreement (LTA) for an initial duration of one (1) year, renewable twice for up to a maximum of three (3) years, subject to satisfactory performance. The LTA will include an initial six (6) month probationary period, during which the Service Provider’s performance will be closely monitored and evaluated.
SITE INSPECTION / PRE-BID MEETING
A mandatory site inspection/pre-bid meeting will be conducted as follows:

Time: 11:00 a.m. prompt (Nigerian Local Time, WAT)
Attendance Requirement
Attendance at the site inspection/pre-bid meeting is mandatory for all interested bidders.
