Provision of Services by Arabic speaking psychologists and psychiatrists

It is anticipated that the International Criminal Court (hereafter referred to as the ICC) located in The Hague, The Netherlands, will shortly be issuing a solicitation for the Provision of Services by Arabic speaking psychologists and psychiatrists. In this connection, the ICC is requesting expression of interest from qualified firms.

Brief Scope of Work

1. Objective

Victims and Witnesses Section (VWS) of the International Criminal Court (ICC) intends to procure the services of licensed Arabic speaking psychologists and psychiatrist(s) to provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic treatment to its clients with the goal of improving psychological well-being and functioning due to traumatic stress or other mental health conditions.

2. Services to be Provided

The psychologist shall deliver the following services:

Clinical Assessment

o Conduct initial intake interviews and psychological evaluations

o Administer standardized diagnostic tools as needed

o Develop individualized treatment plans

Therapeutic Interventions

o Provide evidence-based therapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, etc.)

o Offer individual or family counselling sessions

o Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

o For psychiatrist: prescribe necessary medication and ensure monitoring

of treatment.

Documentation and Reporting

o Maintain confidential clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards

o Submit periodic progress reports to the Psychosocial Support team of the VWS if required

o Provide discharge summaries and recommendations for continued care if applicable

3. Qualifications

The psychologist must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a valid license to practice psychology in [Jurisdiction]
• Minimum of [5] years of clinical experience
• Maintain professional liability insurance
