RFQ Supply and Installation of Fixed Aluminum Window Grills with Insect Screening (RE-TENDER)

UNDP requires the supply, fabrication, delivery, and installation of fixed aluminum window grills with integrated insect screening for the New Wing of the UNDP premises in Samoa.

The scope covers twenty-one (21) fixed windows with an estimated total area of approximately 92.77 square meters, based on verified measurements. The works apply to windows only; no doors, operable panels, or movable systems are included.

Scope includes:

  • Site visit and verification of all window measurements
  • Fabrication of fixed (non‑operable) aluminum window grills with integrated insect screening
  • Delivery of all materials to the UNDP premises
  • Installation of grills and insect screens onto existing window frames without structural modification
  • Secure fixing using corrosion‑resistant materials suitable for tropical/coastal conditions
  • Final inspection, rectification of defects (if any), and handover

The installed assemblies shall:

  • Be suitable for exterior use
  • Prevent insect entry while allowing airflow and daylight
  • Be neatly finished with no sharp edges or damage to existing structures
