Description of the Assignment: To support DAS and the FDI Unit in analyzing EU legislative developments affecting industrial supply chains and market access conditions for manufacturing products integrated into EU strategic sectors. The objective of this assignment is to analyze European Union legislative and regulatory developments affecting industrial supply chains and market access conditions for manufactured products, and to assess their implications for the participation of non-EU manufacturing locations in European industrial ecosystems, with particular attention to Serbia. The assignment shall examine how evolving EU requirements related to sustainability, supply chain resilience, product compliance and strategic autonomy may influence the ability of non-EU suppliers and manufacturing locations to integrate into European industrial value chains. It shall further assess the implications of these developments for Serbia’s industrial positioning and investment attraction strategy.
