DESIGN AND BUILD: Solarisation of Kitoro Borehole, Pump Upgrade of Kavule 2 Borehole, Transmission Pipelines to Malembo and Kagoma Block 10 Storage Tanks, Pipeline Extension to Bukin
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Kampala, Uganda invites suppliers having expertise in water and sanitation services to make a firm offer for a complete, climate-resilient, and technically sound water supply system comprising: the motorisation of Kitoro Borehole (32 m³/hr) to supply two existing elevated storage tanks currently underserved by five boreholes with a combined capacity of only 24 m³/hr; the upgrade of Kavule 2 Borehole pump from 30 m³/hr to 45 m³/hr to improve service levels; the extension of a distribution pipeline to the Bukinda New Arrivals area (approximately 24 km from the established tapping point) to eliminate emergency water trucking; and the installation of ten tapstands to improve beneficiary access along the network.
