Description
The Regional Service Centre Entebbe (RSCE) is seeking a qualified Telecommunication Service Provider with the necessary licenses and permissions to operate in Uganda and ensure seamless communication. The selected Service Provider will be expected to deliver the specified commercial communication services for an initial term of one (1) year, with the option to extend for two (2) additional one-year periods, contingent on satisfactory performance. Effective fixed and wireless telecommunication services are essential for the organisation’s operations. The RSCE operates at the regional level, and the GSM subscriber account is highly dynamic, currently exceeding 500 active lines for RSCE personnel. Specific Requirements/Information At present, the RSCE offers a range of telecommunication services, including the following: 1. Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Trunks/Channels. 2. Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) Services. 3. Direct Inward Dial (DID) Range Services. The successful Service Provider shall provide the following Services to the RSCE: 1. Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Services. 2. Integrated Service Digital Network (ISDN) SIP Services. 3. Individual digital line Services to smaller locations. 4. Ad Hoc Leased Lines. 5. Direct inward Dial number ranges, provided on ISDN. 6. GSM – Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Cards/eSIMs, to provide Voice, SMS, and 4G/5G Data for National & International network access. 7. Closed User Group (CUG) services should include all SIM cards and eSIMs issued/used. 8. Provisioning of four-digit Emergency dialling. 9. Integration with the RSCE telephone network. 10. Bulk SMS broadcast service.
