Description
The United Nations Visitors’ Services Section wishes to establish a long-term contract for the provision of a secure web-based online ticketing service. The online operating platform will be utilised for the point of sale of tickets for guided tours, checking in visitors, daily scheduling of tour times and specific language tours, scheduling of specialised briefings for large groups, generating daily and/or monthly reports of visitors to the United Nations, as well as customised financial and administrative reports. The platform will also be utilised for customer surveys and promotions via email, stored with each transaction. Specific Requirements/Information The Vendor shall have a successful track record in designing, customizing, configuring, managing, and supporting automated online ticketing systems for box-office and performing arts centres and facilities (museums, tourist attractions, etc.). A positive track record highlighting provision of services to national and international performing arts organisations and institutions will be an advantage. The Vendor shall have at least ten (10) years of experience custom designing, installing, maintaining, and providing onsite training for use of an automated online ticketing system dedicated to meet the specific needs of clients. The ticketing system shall be capable to operate in various UN locations, such as US, Africa, Asia and Europe. The Vendor must hold a license with and comply with the Payment Card Industry’s Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Provide Data security and privacy compliant with multi-factor authentication (SSO & MFA). The Vendor shall provide a list of at least three customer references to which similar online ticketing services have been provided. The Vendor shall include the name, address, telephone and e-mail contact details of the organisation, website URL, and (if applicable) social media network addresses. By doing so, the Vendor agrees that customers providing references may be contacted by the United Nations in connection with this EOI. It is anticipated that the ticketing system should come at virtually no cost to the United Nations, with charges being passed on to the ticket buyers in the form of a modest online booking fee.
