Procurement and Installation of Three Long-Range Electronic Sirens for Ras El Bar, Egypt,
Under the authority of the Director-General, the Assistant Director-General for the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (ADG/IOC), and under the oversight of the Programme Specialist (IOC/TSR) and direct supervision of the project coordinator and in the context of IOC CoastWAVE 2.0, under the Component 3, IOC has the responsibility of procurement, delivery, installation of long-range sirens, and providing maintenance and training documents to Egypt. The delivery of the sirens will be to EL RAS BAR, in Egypt. The installations will be in El Ras Bar, Egypt.
The bidder is expected to accomplish the following tasks below:
1. Procure and deliver three (3) long-range sirens to EL Ras Bar, Egypt, including control racks and communication system.
2. Install sirens in El Ras Bar, Egypt with the support of local officials and NIOF.
3. Provide installation, maintenance guide and training documents for the sirens in the local language (Arabic).
3. Train local operators (3-day training) on usage and maintenance of sirens in the local language (Arabic).
4. Provide reports per timetable and deliverables under para. 3 of TR with visual documentation
The tender contains sustainability considerations promoting the sustainable use of resources.

The tender considers the whole life cycle cost of the service or product.
