Description
1. UNSOS provides logistics support to UNTMIS, UN Agencies, AUSSOM and Somali Security Forces throughout Somalia. UNSOS maintains an effective and efficient Logistics and Administrative support operations related to Engineering, Air Operations, Movement Control (MOVCON), Property Management, Logistics and Operational support coordination. The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) is seeking Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent and qualified companies wishing to be considered for inclusion in a tender for the Provision of Ad Hoc Operational Personnel Management Services to UNSOS in Somalia. 2. The prospective Contractor shall be responsible for providing all the necessary personnel and managing the administrative processes, (except as otherwise mentioned by the UN) and for making all necessary arrangements, including the deployment of Personnel with the requisite skills and experience, as needs arise, for the fulfilment of specific tasks and performance of specific duties under various positions in UNSOS in Somalia. 4. The anticipated contract may be valid for an initial period of one year with the option to extend by an additional period of three (1 + 1 + 1) years. Specific Requirements/Information Companies interested in receiving the solicitation documents are requested to submit a written Expression of Interest (EOI) and to include the following information: 1. Company responding to this EOI must be in a similar business for not less than five (5) years. 2. Company must be registered in UNGM at Level 2 with adequate financial capabilities. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNSOS reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that your firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.
