Provision of Inspection, Maintenance and Repair Services for Material Handling Equipment & Light Cargo Trailers to the United Nations Information & Communications Technology Facility (UNICTF), Valencia, Spain.

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) has the requirement to establish a Long Term Contract for the Provision of Inspection, Maintenance and Repair services for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Light Cargo Trailers (LCT) on an “as and when required” basis, to the United Nations Information & Communications Technology Facility ( (UNICTF), in Avenida del Pais Valencia 2, Quart de Poblet, Valencia, Spain. Current List of Equipment (may vary over time): 1. Item: 3T Diesel Forklift Manufacturer: Toyota Model No.: 7FD30 Year of Manufacture: 2006 2. Item: Light 2 Axle Satellite Trailer Manufacturer: Globe Comm Model No.: TES 3900 Year of Manufacture: 2005 The Contractor shall be an authorized after-sales agent/dealer that can provide technical services on the Material Handling Equipment and Light Cargo Trailers in accordance with the equipment manufacturers procedures, standards and specifications, including the supply of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) spare parts, lubricants and associated items to carry out the technical services. The requirement will entail: i. Inspections - Periodical inspections of equipment to confirm operational status. ii. Maintenance - Periodical/Preventive Maintenance. iii. Fault Diagnosis - To determine technical issues with equipment. iv. Repairs - Carry out technical repairs on Electrical/Hydraulic/Mechanical systems etc. The resulting contract will initially be established for three (3) years. The UNGSC retains the sole option to extend it for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each (3+1+1). The complete technical requirements and administrative instructions will be provided with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage following the closing date for this EOI.
