Description

Development and pilot implementation of Digital Safekeeping: Redirection Intervention to Counter Online SRHR and Gendered Disinformation: This contract seeks to develop and implement an online intervention that redirects young people from SRHR disinformation towards evidence-based, age-appropriate sexuality education content and facilitates access to relevant SRHR and GBV services in their local contexts.

Objectives:

  1. To develop a rapid mapping or insights report that outlines relevant narratives, discourses and social media trends that relate to SRHR and gendered disinformation in three target countries (Argentina, Ghana and Tunisia). This would include literature review and social media analysis of content and networks, to shed light on the entry points and user profiles that are being exposed to or amplifying disinformation.
  2. Develop and implement a pilot digital redirection intervention targeting adolescents and young people in three selected low and middle-income countries (Argentina, Ghana and Tunisia). This may include the development of evidence-based content and dissemination through multiplatform campaigns, and the establishment of partnerships with local organizations, platforms and health and social service providers.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the digital redirection intervention in increasing adolescent and young people’s access to services and changes in attitudes and online .
