Description
The external collaborator will design, develop, and implement a capacity‑building programme to strengthen the skills of workers in shea enterprises, with a focus on deodorization of shea butter, fungi reduction, black butter cleaning, and germ management. The assignment will be carried out under the guidance of the ILO–PE4DW Project and in close coordination with project staff, particularly supporting members of the Ghana Shea Employers Association (GSEA). Key responsibilities include conducting a rapid needs assessment to identify skill and operational gaps in hygiene, deodorization, and product quality. Based on this, the consultant will develop a comprehensive training plan detailing objectives, content, methodology, and expected outcomes. They will also produce standardized training materials, including participant handouts and PowerPoint presentations. The collaborator will organize and deliver two participatory training workshops in Tamale for at least 50 workers, ensuring practical demonstrations and learner‑centred methods. Finally, they will document the entire training process and submit two training evaluation and progress reports, capturing achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations. Deliverables include an ILO‑approved training plan, training materials, two workshop reports, and pre‑/post‑training evaluation reports
