Description
1. The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (hereinafter “ESCAP”) is seeking the service of a company that can provide Support Services for these five (5) administrative functions:
a. Senior Property Physical Check, Disposal and Sales Support;
b. Receipt and Inspection Support
c. Office and Furniture Supply Support
d. Space Data Record-Keeping, Research and Sales Logistics Support
e. Building Maintenance Supply Support
2. The ESCAP complex in Bangkok is home to ESCAP and to other UN Agencies. It consists of a Secretariat Building, a Service Building and the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC).
3. The building space serves approximately 1,900 staff. The building operates between 10 to 12 hours a day, Monday through Friday and with weekend and longer weekly operating hours during special conference or events.
4. The contract shall be for a total of seven (7) years in the following format: three (3) + two (2) + two (2). Three (3) years form the initial period, starting in the 2nd quarter of 2027, with two (2) extensions of two (2) years each. Contract extensions are at the discretion of ESCAP, subject to the contractor's satisfactory performance, availability of funds and evolving operational requiremetns of ESCAP.
5. This EOI is not a solicitation. ESCAP reserves the right to change or cancel this requirement.
Specific Requirements/Information
The successful bidder shall be able to meet the following:
1. Provide a transition plan for existing personnel performing the five (5) functions.
2. Provide company work procedures, software, equipment and tools necessary to fulfill assigned tasks.
3. Provide a business continuity plan in case of emergencies.
4. Meet the UN Supplier Code of Conduct, ESCAP occuptional health and safety standards, security clearance on working on-site and pre-defined KPI.
5. Provide the necessary training, payroll administration, benefits, incentives or reward plans and other remunerations to the assigned personnel.
6. Provide assigned personnel, who shall be accepted by ESCAP prior to starting work.
7. Observe ESCAP holidays and working hours. Overtime work may be required from time to time.
8. Comply with the Thai legislation as a business entity and on Thai labour laws and regulations.
9. Show evidence that the company has been established in Thailand for at least five (5) years and has three (3) years of financial stability.
